2013 Fall Mini Sessions {Tri Cities, TN Photographer}

 Fall Mini Sessions are here!!   We had a blast last year and can't wait to do them again!!  I'm excited to be doing them at the beautiful VA grounds in Johnson City this year!  I've found that they have the most gorgeous fall colors, in fact - many of the images below were taken there!!  Mini sessions are tons of fun - if you've never attended one of BDP's mini sessions before, here's a few things to expect:  I always have a few little activities to keep kiddos occupied while Mom or Dad are filling out paperwork and waiting their turn.  There will also be gorgeous product samples to check out, including holiday card designs and gift ideas.  This is an awesome opportunity to get a quick updated portrait for the wall and get those holiday cards taken care of.  It's also a perfect chance to give the Brandilyn Davidson Photography experience a try if you haven't yet.  Or maybe you've never had any photography experience before, or maybe you're looking for a new photog to call your own... whatever your story - I hope to see you there!!

Here are the details - you have TWO dates and TWO packages to choose from: 

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25TH (3:00 - 5:00 PM) 

and

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH (9:00 - 11:30 AM & 3:00 - 5:30 PM) 

-  sessions are scheduled in 1/2 hr. increments  -

Arie's Cake Smash!!

I'm still catching up on blogging... this little guy turned one back in June!!  I've loved watching him grow this past year, from his mama's tummy to smashing his face into this cake!!  I must say he's the most enthusiastic cake-smasher I've had in the studio!!  He's such a sweet little guy, with the most laid back personality.  I sure miss him and his family who left us for sunny Florida last month.  :-(  Enjoy these!!!!  Happy belated birthday Arie!  

Wood Family {Jonesborough TN Photographer}

This little cutie patootie is a BDP Baby Plan baby - I still can't believe it's already been 6 months since her newborn session.  She just keeps getting cuter by the minute!!  I get to see her pretty often too because her mama is my daughter's gymnastics coach over at Revolution Dance and Gymnastics.  You might also recognize her daddy who is the owner over at Crossfit Stacked in Johnson City.  We had a fun time with their family pics in downtown Jonesborough and then headed to the studio to get some of just Sophia.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE watching all my babies grow??  Before I know it she'll be back for her smash the cake session!!!

Mayes Family {Tri Cities Portrait Photographer}

I loved working with this family!!  We had the pleasure of shooting half of their session at Storybrook Farms, a breathtaking bed and breakfast out in the country...  I absolutely love doing sessions there!!  And this family was the cherry on top!!  Miss Harper was such a doll.  I'm looking forward to watching her grow!!  Enjoy!

Beach Bums {Bristol, VA Family Photographer}

Oh my heart.  We went to Myrtle Beach at the end of June for a little getaway and so of course I packed outfits so that we could attempt (it's always an attempt) a photo shoot with all three of my little crazies.  This actually ended up being the second attempt in one day - the first being pretty much a failure!!  Ha!  (I'll post some of those soon too.)  We drove out to a beach about 20 miles north of Myrtle that's less crowded.  The weather was perfect.  The light was a dream.  The kids had a blast.  It was just the best night ever.  I went back and forth between snapping pics and enjoying moments with my precious family.  I love the imperfections in all of these images because they're so... them.  Soaking wet, sand everywhere, wild hair, silly faces...  It's all them.  And I love every bit of it.  

Speaking of my kiddos, I just made an announcement on my Facebook Page yesterday:  We're expecting baby #4 at the beginning of March!!  That's why things have been pretty quiet around here the past few months.  Pregnancies are very hard for me, the beginning in particular, so I'm just trying to keep my head above water at the moment!  I appreciate the patience and sweet congratulations that we've received!  Life is never dull - and it's always an adventure!!   

Leedy Family 2013 {Tri Cities TN Photographer}

I was so excited to see this family again!!  I just love watching all my little babies grow!!  This is the third time I've taken Miss Kyla's pictures {which you can see HERE and HERE} and this was by far the best.  Let's just say someone was having a case of "the two's" at her last session...  =)  And now they're adding a baby boy to the mix!  I can't wait to meet him.  I know that Kyla will be an awesome big sister, no doubt!  Congrats again to the Leedy family!! 

Ben & Kiki's D.C. Wedding {Asheville, NC Photographer}

This wedding was tons of fun!  You might recognize some of the faces from these images - I shot Kiki's sister, Courtney's wedding a little less than a year ago in the same place!!  You can see their pics {HERE}.  It was another hot and humid day in D.C. but we managed the heat and got so many awesome images!!  They are a gorgeous couple and I wish them the very best of luck in their new adventure together!!

Mathson Family 2013 {Tri-Cities TN Family Photographer}

This beautiful family is my BFF's...  If you follow my blog you're sure to have seen their faces before!!  This session started off a little drizzly (literally - it was raining on us!!) but ended up perfect.  I love the natural interactions I was able to capture of their family just being "them".  I'm not supposed to talk about it (mainly because I forbid it!!), but they're leaving us in only a few short weeks...  Breaks my heart just thinking about it!  I'm glad we were able to get these before they left, although I'm sure there will be many more to come!!  Love you guys!   

Violet at 6 months {East Tennessee Children's Photographer}

Oh I could just eat this baby up she's so cute!!!  But before I get into that, let me tell you how special this session was to me!  This beautiful little girls mom and dad's wedding was one of my first when I moved to Tennessee!!  I remember the first time I met Vanessa - I'm pretty sure she was wearing purple, toting a purple purse with a purple wallet inside.  Can you guess what her dominant wedding color was?  You guessed it, purple.  {You can see her bridal pics HERE and HERE}  She even told that very day I met her - (something along the lines of), "I have a bit of an obsession with the color purple.  I always have.  I even plan on naming my first daughter Violet."  How adorable is that?!?  So here is Miss Violet...  Even more beautiful than I imaged she would be considering who her parents are.  I loved every minute of her session.  Enjoy!!

Will - Book Cover Shoot {Photographer in Johnson City, TN}

I absolutely LOVE working with Paige.  She has a vision in her mind and has an amazing ability to convey it - but at the same time, is so flexible and so easy to work with.  I told her to just keep writing books so that I can keep working with her!!  Her first Book Cover Shoot was really fun and we had even more fun this time working with her boyfriend, Will - who was an amazing model (especially considering it was his first time!).  I love the way the images turned out and cannot wait to see the next book cover, as I'm sure it will be as amazing as the first.  To check out her first book (and the cover!!), you can get more info on her Facebook page and even buy the book on Amazon by clicking {HERE}.
